My story. (Minus the boring bits.)

I was raised by a strong, kind, fiercely-independent, single mother. An artist who never stopped believing in her vision. A mother who never once sacrificed one ounce of her children’s comfort or financial security - to pursue her own interests. Without a doubt, my mom shaped and molded me into the uniquely-empathic person I am today. I was taught how to be resilient. To remain unpretentious and real. I learned how to manage life’s inescapable heartbreaks. Get back up. Dust myself off. Needless to say, I developed my own independent strengths. Money was always tight. So (wait for it). Yep. I became a financial advisor. I was determined to deeply understand money. It seemed to me that young girls and women were always left out of the conversation. I vowed to serve as mentor and coach to anyone who needed advice. I developed the ability to listen with my heart. (A rare quality in the financial world.) At my core, I’ve always been a humanitarian and nature lover. I profoundly believe in the power of nature and natural systems. So much so, I took a detour from the money world and studied natural healing. I wanted to learn everything. The hidden powers locked inside plants and herbs. The connections between mind and body. The role of intentional thought. The effect of our household environments upon our immune system. I have always sought the least toxic approaches for my own health and wellness. The less I rely on pharmaceutical companies, the better I personally feel. In fact, when I do find myself being prescribed something, it almost always means, somehow, I’ve gotten off-track. An instant-karma reminder to get back to that independent, nature-loving me. At the risk of sounding a little woo-woo, I truly believe in the willful intention of trying to create harmony between people and planet. I still remember to pause (most) every day and allow myself to feel into how fortunate and blessed we all are. (Even when things are feeling crazy-crappy out there.) My ultimate intention is pure and simple: I want to keep empowering new leaders. That’s my life mission. Keep inspiring new people to go out into the world and share their wisdom. Their joy. Their secrets for creating true soulful wealth and vibrant health.
